How to Check-in
To save passengers the hassle of dealing with paper tickets which can easily be misplaced, damaged or accidentally dropped down a toilet, AnadoluJet came up with an ‘e-ticket’ system for certain flight destinations and Turkish Airlines Reservations which would dispense with the need for a paper to be involved.
The process of Turkish Airlines Tickets booking an e-ticket is the same – you do it via their sales offices, dialling the call centre or through the website. After acquiring an e-ticket, you can skip the queues at the check-in counters by using the self-check-in kiosks available at certain domestic airports. Simply enter your name, surname and reservation code (PNR) or Electronic Ticket number into the kiosk, drop off your baggage at dedicated bag drops, and head to the gate. Alternatively, e-ticket holders can do their check-in online via the AnadoluJet website 24 hours before departure, print out their boarding passes on their personal computers, and forgo check-in at the airport altogether. Passengers who booked conventional paper tickets also have the option of using the self-check-in kiosks or check in online, but will not be able to print their boarding passes at home. Passengers should check in one hour before the scheduled departure time of domestic flights, or two hours before the departure of international flights.
